I am a photographer recently moved to Hervey Bay QLD from living in the Blue Mountains of Sydney Australia. Like many other parts of Australia it is picturesque with trees, birds, waterfalls and interesting landforms. I am fortunate to be able to travel not only in Australia but other countries & this gives me many opportunities to take photographs.
Photography is an absorbing pursuit & one that keeps me learning and engaged with the details of life around me. Water of any kind attracts me but particularly the beach and its surrounds.
My work ranges from representational to creative and imaginative, colour & monochrome. I usually have many projects happening at once and I never tire of looking at the work of others. I sometimes enjoy "making " a photograph by combining or overlaying a few of my photos to create what I imagine it could look like. I like making photos that express an atmosphere & a feeling that is obvious to viewers.
With a background in education and a qualification in graphic design learning about photography is ongoing and all consuming for me. One purpose of this sites to have a home for my work & another is to share it with whomever may be interested.
